Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC),
a joint venture company with equity participation from Govt. of India and
Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi has been entrusted with the
responsibility of implementation of the rail based Mass Rapid Transit
System for Delhi & NCR.
Applications are invited from dynamic
and result oriented Engineers (Civil, Electrical, and Electronics), having
a minimum of 70% marks in B.Tech/B.E examination (in respective
disciplines) and Architects having a minimum of 60% marks in B.Arch, from
AICTE recognized Institutes/Universities, for recruitment for 25 posts in
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation as Executive Trainee.

There is no reservation for
physically handicapped candidates in this selection. In-take for Physically handicapped in identified categories, wherever
applicable, to the extent admissible, will be processed separately.

The result of reserved
category posts will be subject to the final outcome of the WRIT Petition
No. 7878/2010 (Sarv Rural & Urban Welfare Vs UOI & others).
Age:
Not more than 28 years as on
01/01/12 (i.e born earlier to 02.01.1984), with 3 years (upper age)
relaxation for OBC and 5 years (upper age) relaxation for SC & ST.
Training :
Selected candidates will be
sent for one year ‘Post Graduate Diploma Course’ in “Metro
Technology and Management” at IIT/Delhi. During the above course, the
trainees will be paid a stipend of Rs.25000/- p.m . Accommodation facility
for self only will be arranged by DMRC during the period of the course at
IIT/Delhi.
Induction :
On successful completion of
the course, the trainees will be inducted as Assistant Manager in DMRC in
IDA pay scale Rs. 20600-46500/-. Trainees who secure more than 85% marks
during the PG Diploma Course will be granted two advance increments upon
joining as Assistant Manager, those securing between 80% to 85% will be
granted only one advance increment at the time of induction while those
who secure less than 80% marks will be fixed at the minimum of the grade.
Such of candidates who do not complete the course or do not secure the
minimum pass marks in the PG Diploma course at IIT/Delhi will not be
inducted in DMRC, they will have to pay a bond amount of
Rs.5 Lakhs to DMRC towards training cost. Those candidates who
successfully complete the course but do not join DMRC, their candidature
will lapse and they will also have to pay an amount of Rs.5 Lakhs to DMRC
as bond amount.
Seniority:
The
inter-se seniority of the executive trainees in the concerned discipline
at Assistant Manager level shall be decided based on the overall
performance at the Post Graduate Diploma Course at IIT/Delhi. Their
seniority upon absorption will count retrospectively from the date of
start of the course at IIT/Delhi.
Probation:
After induction as Assistant
Manager (AM), they will be on probation for a period of two years. After
successful completion of probation, they will be confirmed as AM as per
the policy of DMRC.
Bond & Notice Period
time:
Before joining the course,
they will have to execute a bond of Rs. 5 Lakh to serve DMRC for a period of five years (This is
inclusive of the PG Diploma course period of one year). They will also
have to give a notice of three months (working) if they want to leave DMRC
at any point of time during bond period.
Schedule for Examination :
No extension for joining
will be permitted to the selected candidate, as the course is to commence
on 15.07.2012 sharp.
Eligible and willing candidates
fulfilling the above mentioned eligibility criteria for Executive Trainee
(including those appearing at the final semester exam in Summer of 2012)
may apply online as per Schedule
for Examination. However, the candidature of such candidates
whose final result is not declared by the date of interview shall be
provisional. They may be
allowed to appear at GD/Interview provisionally at their request subject
to their final result/Mark sheet, fulfilling the % age requirement, being
available in public domain, through newspaper/website, is produced by 15thJune’12,
failing which their provisional candidature shall stand cancelled and they
will have no claim for admission to the Course. No TA/DA will be
admissible for attending the interview.
Payment of application fee
(non-refundable):
1.
UR & OBC candidates are
required to pay a Non-refundable fee of Rs.325/- and SC/ST are required to
pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 75/- (for processing charge).
In addition to, transaction charges of Rs 50, as levied by the Bank ( SBI),
for issue of Challan, will be paid directly by the candidate to Bank. i.e.
UR & OBC candidates
has to pay Rs 375/- and SC/ST candidates has to pay Rs. 125/- in
total to bank.

Fee once paid will not be
refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are therefore requested to
verify their eligibility, time limit before paying the application fee.
Candidates should remain in constant touch with
DMRC’s Website “www.delhimetrorail.com” for update of information regarding the instant
selection process.
Note:
(1)
All the posts are technical posts and therefore no reservation for
physically handicapped candidates is applicable.
The medical standards for these posts is of
‘Executive/Technical’ level, details of which can be seen on our
website.
(2)
The written examination shall be held in Delhi only.
How to apply
ii)
Please, Paste his/her recent
passport size colored photograph (3.5 cm X 3.5 cm) at appropriate place.
iii)
Put his/her signature in ink at
the allocated place and put his/her left thumb impression on the relevant
place allocated in the Registration slip. The thumb impression must be
clear and complete. Ridges of
the thumb impression must be clearly visible.
iv)
Please fill in the declaration given on the registration slip in their own handwriting.
Handwriting should be in free flow and not in capital letters.
v)
Candidates must ensure that the photograph
must be in colour , not more than 03 months old from the date of the publication
of this notification and it should be of good quality with fine print.
Applications with mutilated or deformed photographs will be
rejected by DMRC. The
other copy of the registration slip should be kept with the candidate for
future reference.
vi)
Applications
without thumb impression, declaration, signature and photograph will be
summarily rejected.
14.
Documents
to be sent with the duly filled registration slip (as explained in para
13) :
i)
Original copy of the payment
challan meant for DMRC.
ii)
Candidates
belonging to SC/ST categories must attach an attested copy of their SC/ST
certificates with the registration slip.
OBC candidates (central list) are also required to attach the
attested copy of their certificate.
15.
The candidate
will now send one copy of “Registration Slip” duly completed as explained above so as to
reach the address given hereunder latest by 04.04.2012,
positively via Ordinary Post . Candidates
must ensure that their duly filled applications reach the under mentioned
address by 04.04.2012.
In case of non receipt of applications, the candidature will not be
acceptable.

N.B.
Candidates should refer to advertisement given in the Employment News
dated 17.03.2012 or on DMRC’s website only for the purpose of applying
for the jobs. DMRC has not authorized any agency/Vendor to publish the
instant ad. The only and accepted mode of submission of application
has exhaustively been explained in para 1 to 16 under title ”How to
